A Los Angeles icon is collaborating with one of country music’s biggest stars to create a signature treat ahead of his two star-studded shows at SoFi Stadium.
Luke Combs, known for chart-topping country singles “When it Rains it Pours” and “She Got the Best of Me,” as well as his Grammy-nominated cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” will be taking the stage in Inglewood for two consecutive nights later this week — a feat often exclusive to pop stars like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.
In celebration of the singer/songwriter’s upcoming shows, L.A.’s beloved Randy’s Donuts is releasing a special donut made in collaboration with the country star.
Now through Saturday, exclusively at the original Randy’s in Inglewood, fans can get a taste of the “Bootlegger Donut,” an original glazed raised donut with the singer’s name written in chocolate icing.
Combs is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, a two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year award-winner, a four-time Academy of Country Music Award recipient and a thrice Grammy-nominated recording artist. The donut bakery says the Bootlegger “promises to be as unforgettable as his music.”
Luke Combs is set to bring his “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour” to SoFi Stadium on Friday and Saturday, with special guests ranging from modern folk icons The Avett Brothers and rising country stars Mitchell Tenpenny and Jordan Davis.
The Friday show will coincide with the release of his newest full-length album, “Fathers & Sons.”
