For those who appreciate the architecture and intimacy of timeless, historic concert halls and a unique blend of hard and alternative rock, the new Queens of the Stone Age tour will be the perfect event to attend!
The group has just announced the North American leg of The Catacombs Tour for this fall, which will take place in America’s oldest theaters.
Due to the intimate and unprecedented setting of this tour, QOTSA will be reworking some of their greatest hits to fit the more subdued scene while still performing songs from their catalog in the original format.
Queens of the Stone Age have been a prominent force in the rock and alternative rock genre since the ‘90s with Josh Homme leading the charge as the lead singer and songwriter.
He has been joined by a handful of famous musicians, such as Dave Grohl, Nick Oliveri, and Mark Lanegan.

Known for their heavy, riff-driven sound and innovation, QOTSA released several incredible hits throughout their 30-year career.
Songs like the quintessential “No One Knows,” “Little Sister,” “The Way You Used To Do,” the choral and melodic “Go with the Flow,” and the heavy “Song for the Dead” helped solidify the band’s place amongst the greats in the rock world.

The inspiration for the Catacombs tour came from Homme’s dream of playing re-imagined versions of the band’s hits to the backdrop of the Paris Catacombs.
This macabre and unique event was filmed as a movie, “Queens of the Stone Age: Alive in the Catacombs,” which garnered critical acclaim all over the globe.
These shows will be once in a lifetime events as there are not many other shows with such originality.
