Assistant City Manager Cecilia Gallardo-Daly present the City Manager Leadership Award for May to Jennifer Santijaroennon Programmer Analyst II in the IT Department.
Santijaroennon joined the City of Costa Mesa’s IT department in May 2024.
“It is a testament to Jennifer’s work ethic and skills that within one year of her arrival to Costa Mesa she is receiving this award,” Gallardo-Daly said. “Over the past year she was asked to help with the City’s public website updates. The city manager’s office is very grateful for her great work over the past year.”
Her key responsibilities include resolving TESSA issues and creating new reports. Her additional tasks related to the website include managing website updates, addressing inquiries and developing new web pages.
She performs these crucial tasks in addition to her regular duties with enthusiasm and friendliness. And she’s someone.
Santijaroennon represents the city as a model team member with her eagerness, willingness and desire to help others. Santijaroennon has a positive attitude and is willing to help and support her colleagues.
Prior to joining Costa Mesa, Santijaroennon worked as a Data Application Specialist at the Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District.
In that role, she developed and maintained various web-based applications, including an Operations information filtering system where employees can look up their workload and work history, and a healthcare check system during COVID-19. She also worked on report development and data quality assurance.
Santijaroennon has a bachelor of science degree in information systems from Cal State Long Beach.
