On Friday morning Post Malone released his new country song “I Had Some Help,” featuring country star Morgan Wallen.
“It ain’t like I can make this kinda mess all by myself,” the pair sing in the chorus. “Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf.”
The upbeat, feel-good song is predicted to be a summer anthem and hit.
The duo has been teasing the collaboration since their appearance at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California in April. Weeks before that performance, the “Congratulations” singer released a 30-second clip on Instagram hinting that the new song was on the way.
The “Rockstar” singer has been dabbling in the country genre lately.
He’s featured on the Beyoncé song “Levii’s Jeans” from her country-inspired album “Cowboy Carter.” At the 2023 CMAs, the Texas native honored the late Joe Diffie in a tribute alongside Wallen and HARDY.
PEOPLE reports he’ll perform at the ACM Awards this month.
So, it is no surprise that he revealed in a Twitch livestream that a country album is coming.
“Country record is coming. I keep singing a song that we made while I was in Nashville. It’s so f—ing sick, but it’s not out,” he said, according to Billboard.
There’s no word as to when the album will be released.
