Saugus High School’s boys basketball team defeated Crean Lutheran 66-63 on a half-court 3-point basket by Max Tengan at the buzzer Monday afternoon in the opening round of the Damien Classic, silver division.

Crean Lutheran (7-5) tied the game on a 3-pointer by Kaiden Bailey with five seconds left, according to a Twitter report from the Damien Classic.
Bailey had 18 points, Patrick Miranda 11 points and Braeden Davidson nine points to lead Crean Lutheran.
