Foothill (11-7-4) was down 1-0 until Brady Campbell scored on a penalty kick, midway through the first half to tie the match.

The teams battled through a scoreless second half.

Crean Lutheran, coached by Stephen Jennings, had victories over San Jacinto and La Habra to reach the quarterfinals. Foothill advanced by defeating Walnut and Grand Terrace.

Portola (11-1-2) advanced to the semifinals with a 1-0 victory over Trabuco Hills Tuesday. The Bulldogs also defeated Valencia and Crescenta Valley.

Portola was the Pacific Hills League champion.
