Northwood athletes sign their letters of intent as family and friends look on Wednesday. (Photos courtesy Northwood athletics).

Northwood High School officials honored eight athletes who signed national letters of intent Wednesday to continue their athletic careers in college.

“Sierra (co-athletic director Wang), their coaches and ASB did a great job celebrating these special student-athletes,” said Co-Athletic Director Brandon Emery.

Camille (Cami) Alarcon, women’s soccer, Cal State Northridge

Kalea Brown, track and field, Chapman University

Ethan Chen, baseball, Claremont McKenna College

Ray (Cal) Euper, baseball, College of Idaho

Chloe Guntrip, women’s lacrosse, Wellesley College

Kaitlyn Kong, women’s water polo, Claremont McKenna College

Lauren Kim, women’s swimming, Loyola Marymount University

Emily Silva, women’s lacrosse, Chapman University
