Crean Lutheran High School student athletes athletes took part in a project earlier this month to donate Christmas trees to the troops, according to Athletic Director Eric Olson.

“This was a great event,” Olson said. “Student-athletes did their best to sell trees to pay their off portions of their fees. Trees were sold to donate to the troops and for our families and friends to enjoy a fresh and beautiful tree.
“We were blessed to donate over 125 items to the troops. Trees, wreaths, decorative lawn reindeer/snowman (were also donated.) Cheers, smiles, laughter and also tears, all signs of joy.”
