Calvary Chapel High School’s boys basketball team battled back in the second half and then went on to defeat Laguna Hills 50-44 in overtime in a consolation round game at the Tustin Classic Wednesday morning.

Laguna Hills led 26-20 at halftime and 35-32 at the end of the three quarters before Calvary Chapel (9-7) charged back to tie the game 43-43 at the end of regulation.
Carson Franklin had 16 points and Tyler Peterson 13 points to lead Calvary Chapel.
Michael Bichel scored 19 points and Dominic Bolton 10 points for Laguna Hills (9-7).
