Owners: Kelly and Skye Carlson of Newport Beach
Rescue: Mutts in Need
What made you want to adopt Sadie and Finn?
We had just lost our other dog, and we were pretty lost without one, so we started looking. It had only been two weeks, so it was pretty soon, but we saw them on Instagram, and Kelly just kept going back to their little faces. We were interested in the female, but the rescue owner thought she showed better with her brother because she was shy. We now think they just knew they’d get both dogs adopted with us.
What do you love most about their personalities?
They both are just the sweetest and happiest pups. Be careful using the bathroom when Finn is around because he lets himself in to check on you. He’s definitely the loyal one of the pair. Sadie is just happy and spastic; she can’t even control her excitement. Sadie is also very particular about mealtime. Whenever the sun sets, she thinks it’s dinner time. She also jumps on whoever is around in the morning to wake them up and let them know she’s up and ready for breakfast.
