PCL, Empire and Sunset leagues well represented in OC All-Star Baseball Game

The Pacific Coast League, Empire League and Sunset League will have a number of players competing in the 56th annual Orange County All-Star Baseball Game on Wednesday, May 29.

The nine-inning game starts at 6:30 p.m. and is presented by Guy Lemmon’s Ryan Lemmon Foundation. Tickets will be available by cash or Venmo before the game.

PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE

Anthony DeMarco, Woodbridge; Casey Euper, Northwood; Zach Ireland, Beckman and Luke Weston, University will be on the South team.

EMPIRE LEAGUE

Sho Garcia and Jackson Haney, Crean Lutheran will be on the South team and Crean Lutheran Coach Jake Haney will be head coach.

Matthew Futami and Aiden Marquez, Pacifica; Andrew Olsen, Tustin; and Justin Tillar and Nick Montgomery, Cypress, will be on the North team.

SUNSET LEAGUE

Dominic Viglione, Newport Harbor; Noah Neufeld, Laguna Beach; Nathan Aceves, Huntington Beach; Cayden Bonura, Fountain Valley and Carter Danz, Corona del Mar, are on the South team.

Jake Evans and AJ Cappell, Los Alamitos, are on the North team.

The South has a 30-23-1 lead in the series and won last year’s game, 11-8.
