Silly and Billy are back and that’s hot.
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are rumored to star in a new show together.
TMZ reports that the besties agreed to a project and have sold it to a streaming service. Right now it’s in the beginning stages and filming hasn’t begun.
But don’t expect a spinoff of “The Simple Life,” the early 2000s reality series the two famously starred in.
From 2003 to 2007, the socialites starred in the reality show which was dubbed the “reverse Beverly Hillbillies.” The women were taken from their plush lives in Los Angeles and thrown into small towns across the country to experience the real world. The show documented their struggles as they took on jobs as farmhands, fast-food workers, housekeepers and camp counselors.
The outlet reports that Hilton, 43, and Richie, 42, will star in a much different show this time around. This makes sense as both women are in much different places in their lives.
In recent years, Hilton has been outspoken about the abuse she suffered while attending Provo Canyon School in Utah when she was 17 years old. Since telling her story she’s lobbied for change at such institutions.
In 2021, the heiress married Carter Reum and the couple now has two children: a son Phoenix, 1, and a daughter London, 5 months.
Richie has been married to Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden since 2010. They share two children: daughter Harlow, 16, and son Sparrow, 14.
Over the years Richie has gained success with her clothing and accessories line House of Harlow 1960. From 2014 -2015 she starred in the unscripted comedy series “Candidly Nicole.” In 2020 she starred in the Quibi series “Nikki Fre$h.”
This year she starred in the remake of the 1991 film “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead.”
Both women seemed to confirm something was in the works.
On Wednesday they both posted a collage of their longtime friendship on Instagram.
“From Day 1: Sill and Bill,” they posted to each of their accounts. This is about their nicknames to each other.
Right now it’s not known when Hilton and Richie’s new show will debut.
