Pacifica High School’s baseball team captured its third straight win at the Ryan Lemmon Invitational, defeating San Juan Hills 5-4 Tuesday night at the Great Park Stadium.

Matthew Futami earned the win, allowing one earned run and striking out four in four innings. Junior Zendejas and Adam Louiso, who earned the save, finished on the mound for Pacifica (12-5).

Nolan Caira was 2 for 3 with a walk, Josh Pearman 1 for 4 with a run scored, Zendejas 1 for 3 with an RBI and Christian Tharasena 1 for 3 with a double.

The Mariners also defeated Davis from Utah 4-1, on Monday at Pacifica. Ayden Valdez earned the win, striking out two and allowing a run in six innings. Jacob Zanaboni was 3 for 4 with an RBI and Connor Chavez 1 for 3 with two RBI.

Pacifica opened the tournament Friday with a 15-1 win over Yorba Linda Friday. The Friday and Monday games were moved to Pacifica due to weather and subsequent unplayable field conditions at the Great Park.

The Mariners wrap up the tournament Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. on field nine at the Great Park. Due to the postponements and schedule changes, no tournament champion will be crowned this year.
