Orthopaedic Specialty Institute yesterday announced that it’s merging with several practice groups to become “the largest independent orthopedic and neurosurgery provider in Southern California.”
The Orange-based independent orthopedic medical group said it has launched a new division focused on neurosurgery.
“We are excited to announce this merger, which positions OSI and its affiliated management services organization, Quantum Health Services, to offer unparalleled access, quality and innovation in specialized orthopedic care across Southern California,” Jeffrey Deckey, managing partner at OSI, said in a statement.
The expansion adds new offices in Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo and San Clemente to OSI’s existing locations in Orange and Irvine for a total of six clinics with 35 orthopedic physicians and neurosurgeons and 21 midlevel providers.
OSI is also partnering with two other local orthopedic groups, Sea View Othopaedics and Southern Orange County Orthopedic Group.
