SUNSET LEAGUE
NEWPORT HARBOR 1, CORONA DEL MAR 0: The Sailors (6-1, 2-1) won on Wednesday for their second straight victory over the Sea Kings (6-3, 0-2). Newport Harbor starter Keaston Anderson got the win, pitching the first six innings allowing no runs and two hits. Ryan Williams was 2 for 3 and came on in the seventh inning to get the save. Lucas Perez had the game-winning RBI. The final game of the series will be Friday at Newport Harbor.
COAST LEAGUE
SAVANNA 11, ESTANCIA 5: The Rebels (8-3, 1-1) captured a league win Wednesday. Estancia (5-5, 0-1) was led by Miles Dodge who was 1 for 2 with an RBI and Carlos Hauser, who was 1 for 3 with three RBI and a stolen base.
PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE
Laguna Beach 3, Woodbridge 0
Portola 7, Sage Hill 0
University 9, St. Margaret’s 4
NON-LEAGUE
CYPRESS 6, JSERRA 4: The Centurions (5-4) were led by Garret Rodriguez, who was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and a walk; Noah Johnson, who was 2 for 3 with a run scored, RBI and a walk; John Short, who was 1 for 2 with two RBI, a run scored, walk and a sacrifice fly and Landon Anderson who scored two runs.
Aiden Franco pitched the first four innings, allowing four hits and two earned runs and struck out five to earn the win. Nick Nelson and Wyatt Rosales finished on the mound.
MISSION VIEJO 8, CAPO VALLEY CHRISTIAN 7: The Diablos rallied for a win Wednesday. Joey Pallone was 1 for 2 with a double, two walks, two RBI and two runs scored. Luke Nestor was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. Wyatt Dunlap pitched 4 1/3 innings allowing two earned runs and striking out two.
VILLA PARK 2, SANTA MARGARITA 1: Jack McGuire pitched three innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out two. Sophomore Brady Wolfe earned the win and sophomore Logan Hoppie got the save. Villa Park (7-3) was led offensively by Gunner Santillo who was 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI and Austin Park who was 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI.
TRABUCO HILLS 4, EL MODENA 1: The Mustangs were led by Evan Hall, who was 4 for 4 with two hits, a double and an RBI and Daniel Van De Kreeke, who had two hits and a run scored. Christian Avalaos earned the save for Trabuco Hills.
