The slow lane of eastbound Del Amo Blvd. will be occasionally closed from March 10 to March 31 as the Gas Company undertakes a project to do routine safety maintenance on a major gas line located nearby.
Some days between March 10-31, there will be no work being done and traffic will not be affected. Other days the slow lane will be closed, usually just during daylight hours.
The on-ramp to the 605 will stay open, but traffic may be slow entering it if there is a lane closure.
Motorists may want to seek alternative routes during the March 10-31 time frame.
The City of Lakewood is publicizing this project as a courtesy to local residents. The work is being carried out by the Southern California Gas Company.
