HUB International Limited (HUB), a leading full-service insurance brokerage, is pleased to welcome William “Billy” Hobson as Chief Sales Officer of Commercial Lines for the Los Angeles and Orange County (LAOC) region.
Hobson brings more than 16 years of insurance industry experience, including 11 years as Executive Vice President at Brown & Brown Insurance, where he led teams across the Pacific Northwest and Southern California.
A proud graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Hobson later earned his master’s degree in Insurance Management from Columbia University in New York.
In his new role, Hobson will oversee HUB LAOC’s commercial lines strategy, supporting a fast-growing region that ranks among HUB’s top markets nationally. His leadership will play a key role in expanding client relationships, driving producer development, and furthering HUB’s commitment to delivering tailored risk solutions to businesses throughout Southern California.
