Second Harvest is pleased to announce the addition of Jennifer Medina, MSHR PHR, to the Food Bank team as Chief People & Culture Officer. Medina is a skilled HR practitioner with over 17 years of experience. Previously, she was with Charitable Ventures for six years, as well as Silverado Senior Living, Goodwill of Orange County, and New Directions for Women. Medina holds a Bachelors and Masters from UMass Global. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources by the Human Resources Certification Institute. Medina replaces long-time HR Director Jane VanDyke, who retired in December after 16 years with Second Harvest.
