Orangewood Foundation is proud to welcome five exceptional leaders to its Board of Directors: Matthias Weber, Sean Foley, Rita Al-Silhi, Dr. H. Christopher Moore, and Alex Rounaghi.
Matthias Weber, is a Partner at Weber Christensen & Heinrichs, LLP, where he has over 15 years of experience guiding businesses and nonprofits in financial growth and sustainability. Co-founder of WCH, Weber prioritizes service through pro bono support and prior nonprofit board leadership, including Second Harvest Food Bank and With My Own Two Hands.

Sean Foley is President of the Orange County and Inland Empire Markets at Banc of California, where he leads commercial and real estate banking. With decades of leadership in finance, Foley combines professional expertise with deep community engagement. He has served as Board President of the Mardan Foundation, Vice Chair of the California Bankers Association, and a member of the United Way of Los Angeles. Foley’s dedication to service and partnership will help Orangewood strengthen opportunities for our community’s young people.

Rita Al-Silhi, Senior Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager at U.S. Bank, brings over two decades of banking leadership to Orangewood’s Board. She has advanced her career through key positions at Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and Signature Bank. Al-Silhi serves the community as a member of Orangewood’s Business Advisory Council and participates in professional organizations such as the Association for Corporate Growth. Her further commitment to Orangewood and expertise in financial services make her a valuable addition.

Dr. H. Christopher Moore, the former CEO of Associated Head & Neck Surgeons of Greater Orange County, is renowned for his lifelong commitment to service. A USC School of Medicine graduate, Dr. Moore has held leadership positions at UC Irvine as well as St. Jude Medical Center. His volunteerism includes efforts with the Catholic Worker Food Bank and international medical relief in Haiti, where he provided care to hundreds in crisis. Dr. Moore’s medical expertise, compassion, and dedication strengthen Orangewood’s mission to support youth health and wellness.

Alex Rounaghi, Mayor of Laguna Beach and Development Manager at City Ventures, is committed to strengthening communities and supporting young adults. As the youngest Councilmember in the city’s history, Rounaghi has championed housing, infrastructure, and public safety. His public service extends to juvenile justice reform, working with the Orange County Juvenile Justice Commission and nonprofits serving youth experiencing foster care. A Dartmouth graduate, Rounaghi brings fresh vision, policy expertise, and passion for equity to Orangewood’s mission of empowering young people.
