Since 2021, Nishtha Mohendra has been the chief program officer at Families Forward, an Irvine-based nonprofit committed to helping local families who are facing a housing crisis. The organization is thrilled to announce Mohendra has been named Vice Chair of the Continuum of Care (CoC) Board of Directors governed by the County of Orange, and Chair of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP), operating under Orange County United Way. Together, these organizations play a critical role in uniting resources, policy and strategic action to create systematic solutions for homelessness prevention and housing stability throughout Orange County.
