This move expands his current responsibilities while building on decades of regional leadership. Varga will continue to serve as San Diego Office Leader, a role he has held since 2015, and will now also oversee strategic growth and market direction across the firm’s Southern California footprint.
With more than 30 years of experience in assurance and being a trusted business advisor, Varga works extensively with portfolio companies of private equity groups, venture-backed startups, and other privately held businesses within the modern middle market. As market leader, he will oversee RSM’s strategic direction across its Southern California offices, driving growth, fostering talent, and continuing to shape the firm’s dynamic culture across Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. “Southern California is one of the most dynamic markets in the country, and I’m excited to lead our next chapter here,” Varga said. “My focus is on strategic growth, exceptional client service, and creating meaningful opportunities for our people. Varga is a licensed CPA in California and an active member of the AICPA and CalCPA. Varga earned his Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Moravian University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
