Girls Inc. of Orange County (GIOC) is proud to welcome five accomplished professionals to its Board of Directors for 2026. These new board members bring deep expertise across law, communications, human capital, technology, and financial services, strengthening the organization’s leadership as it continues its mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
GIOC provides life-changing programs that support girls’ academic success, leadership development, and long-term economic mobility. Through initiatives such as Project Accelerate, College Bound, hands-on STEM programming, and Girls Meet the Workforce—a job-readiness pipeline focused on career exploration, professional skill-building, and real-world externship experience—GIOC equips girls with the skills, confidence, and resources needed to thrive in school, careers, and life.
The 2026 Board Members include:
Shelly Heyduk, Co-Chair and Partner at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, brings extensive experience advising public companies on securities law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Her background includes serving in-house at Western Digital Corporation, providing valuable insight into corporate strategy and governance.

Adelle Infante, Associate Vice President of Global Communications at Allergan Aesthetics, is an accomplished communications leader with more than 20 years of experience across healthcare and aesthetics. She leads global communications efforts supporting brand reputation, internal engagement, and external communications for a worldwide workforce.

Deborah Rodriguez, Head Coach at Outside In Leading, is a seasoned human capital and organizational leader with more than 35 years of experience guiding companies through growth and transformation. A longtime supporter of GIOC, she previously served on the board and played a key role in launching the Project Accelerate program.

Hulya Peker, Lead Solution Architect at Capital Group, is a technology leader with more than 25 years of experience in software engineering and architecture. She is passionate about STEAM education and volunteers as a computer programming instructor for local elementary schools.

Andrea Burns, Vice President and Regional Operations Leader at U.S. Bank, brings more than 35 years of experience in the banking industry. Her expertise spans operational leadership, process improvement, and organizational transformation across multiple markets.
Together, these leaders will help guide Girls Inc. of Orange County as it continues expanding opportunities for girls and building pathways to lifelong success.
