With support from the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services and Philanthropy California, the League of California Community Foundations (LCCF) has launched an official GoFundMe to help communities affected by the California winter storms. Through GoFundMe, the fund will allow individual donors to contribute for the first time to the California Disaster Relief, Recovery and Resilience Fund: https://www.gofundme.com/f/california-flood-relief.

As LCCF writes, “This fund deploys donations through local community foundations across California to meet emergency needs in the hardest-hit areas of the state and to support long-term disaster recovery and resilience.

Your donation will help community foundations meet critical emergency needs (shelter, food, healthcare and more). It will also help communities recover, rebuild, and become more resilient to future disasters.”

Additionally, community foundations across the state have set up individual local disaster relief funds that can be found here.
