Go Rentals
WHY: Two brothers co-founded Newport Beach-based “lifestyle” rental car service in that has successfully navigated three major national recessions and a global pandemic over 30 years. Grown from one outpost servicing John Wayne Airport to over 250 fixed base operator (FBO) locations in 32 states. Caters to high net-worth private aviation customers across the U.S., delivering a variety of vehicle brands from Range Rover to Mercedez-Benz to Toyota Camry.
IN THE NEWS: In 2023, RedBird Capital Partner, whose diverse portfolio includes investments in the Boston Red Sox owner Fenway Sports Group, AC Milan and FBO operator Aero Centers, took a minority stake. Go Rentals opened 87 FBO locations in 2024 with 40 more expected this year. Plans to relocate within Newport Beach to an office near Fashion Island, where it plans to increase staff from 60 to 100.
NOTABLE: Buys some of their vehicles directly from OC car dealers, including Bentley Newport Beach, Fletcher Jones Audi, House of Imports Mercedes-Benz, Porsche Newport Beach and Porsche Irvine. Only offers low-mileage cars. Once vehicles go over 18K miles, they sell them. Delivers cars to clients “wherever” they are—whether at the airport, their home or a vacation destination.

IN THEIR WORDS: “We began with $1 million in revenue and have steadily grown both our top line and team. Since then, we’ve expanded our footprint significantly and have added multiple locations. Today, our annual revenue is in the hundreds of millions.”

“What started as a passion for cars has grown into something much greater—a deep appreciation for the people we work with and the clients we serve. At Go Rentals, we’ve built a culture where relationships matter, excellence is the standard, and every day brings the opportunity to do what we love. Being surrounded by a dedicated team and extraordinary vehicles is a privilege, and we consider it a dream realized to lead a company rooted in both performance and people.” — Kavous Gitibin
