WHY: 20-year-old co-founder of wearable tech startup FluxWear Inc. with his sister Nadia Ansari. Invented a neuromodulation device, designed as a hat, to alleviate his sister’s chronic pain using pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy. Has raised $1.5M in funding to advance the FDA approval process and initial clinical trials, partnering with local hospitals to test the wearable device called Shift.
IN THE NEWS: Won a Business Journal Innovator of the Year Award last September and was the youngest recipient to win during its 10-year run.
