WHY: Grew up in small town in Turkey then left for America with $100 in his pocket saying, “Turkey was too small for me.” In 2010, founded Ephesoft, pioneering new ways to track documents using AI. Won 2022 Business Journal Innovator of the Year Award. In 2022, sold Ephesoft to Irvine-based Kofax, now called Tungsten Automation.
IN THE NEWS: Last November, founded Time Machine, an AI-based company to hire, train sales teams. It provides “personalized, interactive training built to scale. Time Machine’s AI customizes training and onboarding based on role and personality, cutting down ramp times and driving sales performance from day one.”
NOTABLE: Co-hosts “Fearless Founders” podcast part-time; investor and founding member of ExpertGuru. Holds a patent on supervised machine learning for document classification and extraction.
