Also bought Balboa Fun Zone on Newport Beach’s Balboa Peninsula in 2020 and plans to revitalize the amusement park. Father is David Pyle, founder of American Career College and chairman of West Coast College.
IN THE NEWS: Plans to raise millions of dollars as part of its growth plan, with industrial properties in Las Vegas, Ontario and Perris already targeted for investment and development. Chartwell acquired Park Pacific Shopping Center in Hermosa Beach in October 2024.
NOTABLE: Chartwell’s advisory board is comprised of some of the biggest names in OC commercial real estate, such as Birtcher Development CEO Brandon Birtcher, Nexus Development CEO Curt Olson and former Donahue Schreiber Chairman and CEO Pat Donahue. The company’s real estate portfolio includes industrial and retail properties in California, Idaho, Nevada and Utah.
