WHY: Joined family business year after his parents founded it in 1987 to make products for highway safety, from signs to barricades. In 2020, took over business from parents. What started as a self-storage unit in San Juan Capistrano has become four manufacturing locations from Adelanto, California to Tijuana. The firm counts around 300 employees. Puts a lot of emphasis on patents, for which company has 200, including 25 by Kulp.
