PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE
IRVINE 6, PORTOLA 2: Irvine (11-11, 6-3) moved into second place in the league with the win Wednesday at Portola. Drake Brito pitched the first four innings, allowing four hits and two runs (one earned) and struck out six. Roshan Patel finished the game pitching three innings, allowing two hits and no runs while striking out four. He also went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Evan Tamayo had a run scored and an RBI; Jack Dressendorfer had a hit, a run scored and an RBI; Alex Cho had a hit, run scored and an RBI and Brandon Figueroa had an RBI for Irvine.
WOODBRIDGE 3, UNIVERSITY 0: The Warriors (15-7, 4-5) took the first game of the series Wednesday at Ryan Lemmon Stadium. Vince DeMarco pitched five scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out 10 and walking four. He was also 3 for 3 with a run scored. Caleb Camacho was 1 for 2 with a run scored, RBI and a walk and Dylan Mutuc earned the save, pitching two innings, allowing no runs with one strikeout.
LAGUNA BEACH 7, NORTHWOOD 0: The league-leading Breakers remained undefeated in the Pacific Coast League.

SUNSET LEAGUE
CORONA DEL MAR 4, MARINA 2: The Sea Kings (10-12, 4-10) recorded their second straight league win over Marina Wednesday. Will Chavez (2-2) pitched a complete game to get the win for CdM. Stevie Jones and Vincent Menard each went 2 for 3 and Brady Gadol was 1 for 2 with a triple and two RBI.
CdM won the opener of the series 5-4 in 11 innings on Tuesday.

CRESTIVEW LEAGUE
CYPRESS 5, FOOTHILL 3: Aiden Franco pitched the first five innings for league-leading Cypress, allowing seven hits and three earned runs while striking out three. Drew Slevcove pitched two innings, allowing no hits, and striking out two. Garret Dominguez was 1 for 3 with a home run, Connor Artaserse was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and Tyler Vladic was 2 for 2 with an RBI for Cypress (13-9, 5-2).
Gavin Lauridsen was 1 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI, Sean Green was 2 for 3, Daniel Troncale was 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI and Evan Kim was 1 for 3 with a run scored to lead Foothill (15-7, 4-3).
VILLA PARK 7, EL MODENA 2: Jack McGuire (4-2) earned the win allowing one hit and no runs in five innings Dom Gutierrez was 2 for 4 with a run scored and two RBI, Shawn Romero was 2 for 4 with an RBI, Gunner Santillo was 2 for 3 with two RBI and Jacob Sandoval 1 for 1 with a double and an RBI to lead Villa Park (15-5, 4-3).
NORTH HILLS LEAGUE
LA HABRA 3, PACIFICA 0: Maddox Moreno pitched six shutout innings, striking out five for La Habra (12-8, 2-2). Andrew Amaya recorded his third save. Bobby Fiero was 2 for 3 with an RBI, Anthony Gomez was 1 for 2 with two RBI and Jonah Mayo was 1 for 3 with two runs scored.
