NORTH OC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Cypress 72, Cajon 38: The Centurions jumped out to a big early lead and never looked back, according to Coach Derek Mitchell.

Michael Wright led Cypress with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Jonah Kim added 14 points with two 3-pointer and Hayden Roberts had nine points.

Villa Park 52, Colony 37: The Spartans (4-5) ended a four-game losing streak. Mai Johnson had 18 points, Dakari Harris 10 points and nine rebounds, Jared Hoggard nine points and six rebounds and Isaiah Labat eight points.

NON-LEAGUE

Foothill 53, Rancho Cucamonga 52: The Knights notched a big road win against No. 24 Rancho Cucamonga. Travis Paleo had 13 points, Blake Pearson 12 points, Mansur McLain 11 points and Isaiah Bernard six points and eight rebounds for the Knights (7-4).

Santa Ana 82, Katella 48: The Saints were led by Jack Rivera, who scored 26 points. Osten Achmad had 11 points and Joctan Martinez 10 points.

Newport Harbor 78, Portola 71: The Sailors (8-2) were led by Jack Berry, who had 19 points. Cole Leinart added 11 points for Newport Harbor.

Aliso Niguel 68, University 64: The Wolverines (8-4) held on for a victory on their senior night. Jayden Mysin led Aliso Niguel with 19 points and three 3-pointers. He made 8 of 9 free throws. Charlie Gass added 12 points. University (3-9) was led by Shervin Moarrefian, who had 21 points and four three pointers. Isaac Evans had 19 points and four 3-pointers and 14 rebounds in addition to six steals. Andrew Bogard had 15 points and seven rebounds.

Milliken 65, Tarbut V’ Torah 43: TVT was led by Yohan Light with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Isaac Joelson added 15.

El Dorado 86, Nogales 48: The Golden Hawks were led by Caleb Hendrix, who had 15 points. Erik Eng and Nathan Meek had 14 points each for El Dorado.

Yorba Linda 55, Valencia 45: The Mustangs were led by Orlando Laws and Dallin Fried, who had 13 points each.

SAN DIMAS SHERISE EDMONDS MEMORIAL TOURNEY:

Canyon 61, Eisenhower 45: The Comanches were led by Sofi Majidi, who had 19 points. Mariah Streeter had nine points and Emmy Smith seven points.
