Boys basketball

FEAST WEEK

Foothill 51, La Habra 38: The Knights (2-1) won their opener in the first game of Feast Week. Rocco Gaffoglio had 16 points, Isaiah Bernard 10 points and 10 rebounds and Mansur McClain eight points to lead Foothill. La Habra dropped to 3-2.

Foothill hosts top-ranked Roosevelt Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

The event is also being held at Marina High School.

Aliso Niguel 58, AGBU Corona 38: The Wolverines were led by Jay Keys, who had 15 points and Garrett Trayer who had 12 points. Jordan Stanley added eight points. Aliso Niguel (2-0) hosts San Clemente Tuesday night..

RANCHO ALAMITOS TOURNEY

Northwood 65, Valencia 50: The Timberwolves (2-0) were led by Zaid Yunis, who had 16 points, five rebounds and two steals. Ryan Abaye had 13 points, five rebounds and five assists; Justin Liu had 10 points and five rebounds and Aidan Arnold nine points and four steals.

Northwood (2-0) meets Palm Desert Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the second round.

Irvine 63, Corona 40: The Vaqueros (2-1) were led by Cooper Stearns, who had 14 points. Jaesang An and Parth Gupta had 10 points each and Jalen Yim nine points. Nine players scored for Irvine, which meets West Wednesday at 3 p.m.

NON-LEAGUE

Calvary Chapel 70, University 60: Calvary Chapel was led by Jorden Embry who had 27 points. Brannon Berry added 15 points. Ben DeVries 12 points and Isaiah Guerra 10 points. Christian DeBarge scored 13 points, Shervin Moarrefian 11 points and Josh Thio 11 points to lead University.

Girls basketball

NON-LEAGUE

Woodbridge 58, Laguna Beach 28: Hana Watanabe had 17 points and Teagan Burris and Milan Heisdorf nine points each for Woodbridge (3-0).

EL TORO TOURNEY

Pacifica Christian 62, Northwood 45: The Tritons were led by Alexia Valencia who had 22 points and Lauryn Ham, who had 16 points and two 3-pointers. Caylie Villagrana added eight points, four steals and four assists for Pacificia Christian.
