Northwood captures buzzer-beater; Servite, San Juan Hills, Portola and Tesoro also win

NORTHWOOD 61, WARREN 58: Ryan Abaye hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Timberwolves to a non-league victory at home Wednesday night. Zaid Yunis had 17 points, Abaye had 15 points and Aditya Sheth 14 points to lead Northwood (5-5).

SERVITE 66, WESTERN 34: The Friars (2-0) captured a win at the Loara Tournament. Servite was led by Aaron Balistrieri who had 11 points, Brendan Tom, who had nine points and Scott Schulz, who had eight points.

SAN JUAN HILLS 79, KINGMAN, ARIZ. 32: The Stallions (5-2) won a game at the Diablo Inferno. San Juan Hills was led by Rylan Kies, who had 19 points and Nathan Brosch, who had 14 points. Nine players scored for San Juan Hills.

PORTOLA 70, LAGUNA BEACH 46: The Bulldogs (6-1) won their second straight game at the Mariko Memorial Classic. Devin Daniel had 18 points, Colin Huang 16 points and Ryan Chu 10 points. Dylan McEachern had 13 points and Jack Halvorson 12 points to lead Laguna Beach (3-6).

Portola will face Tesoro Friday at 7 p.m.

TESORO 55, EDISON 47: The Titans (6-1) were led by Carson Brown who had 20 points, four rebounds and two blocks; Nathan Draper, who had 11 points and five rebounds and Blake Manning who had nine points and six assists.

TRABUCO HILLS 59, WOODBRIDGE 49: Trabuco Hills captured a win at the Mariko Memorial Classic Wednesday night at Woodbridge. The Mustangs were led by Colin Duckens who scored 19 points and made five 3-pointers off the bench and Jack Warnick, who had 17 points, 14 rebounds and six assists.
