Newport Beach Firm Buys Large Houston Industrial Building

Newport Beach-based CapRock Partners announced today it bought Kennedy Greens Distribution Center, a 524,199-square-foot industrial facility in Houston.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. CoStar data shows the most recent owner was Illinois-based Janko Group. The purchase marked CapRock’s entry into the Houston market.

Kennedy Greens Distribution Center, located at 13300 John F. Kennedy Blvd. in Houston, was fully leased at the time of the sale. The tenants were Walmart, Cheniere Energy and MEI Rigging & Crafting.

Kennedy Greens Distribution Center was built in 2000 and sits on 29 acres. The building includes 36-foot clear heights, 103 dock-high doors, four grade-level doors, 128 trailer stalls and 276 car parking spaces.
