Anaheim residents got their first look at the newly remodeled Walmart Neighborhood Market located at 1120 S Anaheim Blvd on July 15, 2022, as the much-anticipated project is now complete.
Anaheim customers can take advantage of Walmart’s Free Online Grocery Pickup option which provides the convenience of shopping online and the ease of picking up groceries without leaving your car. Anaheim customers are encouraged to come by the store and take advantage of this new service option.
In addition to Online Grocery Pickup, the Anaheim store remodel includes department transformations and expansions that will help customers save time. The upgrades also complement the measures the company has taken in its U.S. stores to help protect associates and customers from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Nelisa Blackwell, an Anaheim native who works as the Neighborhood Market Store Manager, looks forward to welcoming back customers with new improvements and showing her community the new store design. Blackwell was the Store Manager when the store first opened in 2012, and after working at another Walmart store, has since returned to her hometown.
“When customers walk in, they’ll notice right away the changes we’ve made to the layout and to the front of the store,” said Blackwell. “We are especially excited about being able to finally offer Online Grocery Pickup to our customers and delivery in the near future!”
In addition to Online Grocery Pickup, customers will also enjoy the following store improvements:
- Expanded Electronics department
- Expanded Hispanic foods section with more product options
- Eight new scan-and-go checkout aisles
- New floors and paint throughout the store
- New navigational signage throughout the store
- Remodeled front of the store including customer service desk
- Additional stop signs in parking lot for increased safety
- Walmart delivery service launching later this month
