A new poster has been unveiled for the upcoming film “Joker: Folie à Deux”.

The new image shows stars Joaquin Phoenix, who plays the Joker, and Lady Gaga, who takes on the role of Harley Quinn, dancing under the moonlight.

Phoenix is holding a cigarette and looks lovingly at the “Shallow” singer, as her eyes are closed. Smeared red paint is around her mouth, which we can assume is after a romantic moment with the famous “Batman” villain.

On Tuesday morning, the film’s official X account, formerly Twitter, posted the photo with the caption “The world is a stage.”
It also revealed that the movie’s official trailer will be released on April 9.

Gaga shared the same post to her Instagram account as well and excited followers flooded the comment section.

“Oh my gaga,” commented the MTV account.

“And we are seated,” wrote the official account for DC.

Television personality Michelle Visage said she “can’t wait.”

Back in 2022 rumors began to swirl that Gaga, born Stefani Germanotta, would play Quinn in the highly anticipated sequel to Todd Phillips’ 2019 Oscar-winning film “Joker.”

The movie earned 11 Oscar nominations and won two. Phoenix snagged Best Actor while Hildur Guðnadóttir won Best Original Music Score.

“Joker: Folie à Deux” will hit theaters on Oct. 4.
