Netflix has edited out Kim Kardashian getting booed at the Tom Brady roast at The Kia Forum this past Sunday.
When the reality star originally hit the podium to skewer the NFL great, she was met with a massive amount of boos from the audience.
“Alright, alright,” she told the crowd to calm them down after she made her first joke.
Comedian and actor Jeff Ross jumped in to help by getting on another microphone.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,” Ross chimed in saying.
If you watch the roast on Netflix now, you will notice Kardashian’s beginning part is missing, as is the part where Ross tried to calm the crowd down.
Kardashian’s speech poked fun at rumors that she and the seven-time Super Bowl champion were once an item while jabbing Caitlyn Jenner at the same time.
“I do know it would never work out. An ex-athlete, high cheekbones, silky hair — you remind me too much of my stepdad now,” she said. “Part of me thinks you would want to undress me just to try on my clothes. I know the transition from the NFL must have been really hard, but I think my stepdad is a great example for you. She’s one of the best athletes in the world who proved you can do anything in this next chapter of your life. You can become a commentator, a far-right Republican, or even a strong, confident woman.”
Her final joke was about her father, the late Robert Kardashian, defending O.J. Simpson during his murder trial.
“It’s hard for me to watch people roast you, but I think enough of my family members have helped defend former football players,” she quipped.
There’s no word as to why Netflix chose to edit that out.
The version of the special that is streaming now includes a disclaimer that it has been edited from the previous live stream.
