Singer Neil Young and his band Crazy House are canceling the rest of their tour, and that includes two shows in Southern California.

In a statement on his website, the band explained that a couple of band members had fallen ill after their show at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan on May 22.

“We are still not fully recovered, so sadly our great tour will have a big unplanned break,” the statement said. “We will try to play some of the dates we miss as time passes when we are ready to rock again! We know many of you made travel plans and we apologize for the inconvenience.”

The band then thanked the fans for their “understanding and patience.”

“Health is #1,” the statement continued.

“We want to stay and do more shows and more albums for you… and for us.”

On Ticketmaster, the band’s shows from July 8 to July 29 have been marked as canceled.

They were set to play at Ohana Fest in Dana Point, California on Sept. 27 and while it’s three months away the festival noted that the band will no longer be performing.

“We are sad to announce that Neil Young with Crazy Horse will no longer be performing at Ohana Festival 2024,” the festival announced on Instagram on Wednesday. “Please stay tuned for a lineup update coming as soon as possible; in the meantime, we are wishing the band a speedy recovery.”

The band was booked to hit the stage of the Hollywood Bowl on Sept. 29 and while the show isn’t marked as canceled on the ticket website, an error does occur when attempting to look at information on the site for the Hollywood Bowl.
