MV Shuttle resumes free service to the community on Aug. 15

In line with the new school year, the MV Shuttle will begin its sixth year of service to this community on August 15.

From the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Metrolink train station to Lake Mission Viejo and many places in between, the MV Shuttle gets folks where they want to go for free.

The shuttle schedule has been revamped to accommodate new Metrolink arrival and departure times and new school bell schedules. The convenient shuttle service can be used for transport to Saddleback College, Capistrano Valley High School, The Shops at Mission Viejo, Mission Hospital, Norman P. Murray Community Center, City Hall and the library as well as the YMCA/Marguerite Aquatics/Tennis Pavilion and other locations.

There is also an afternoon pick-up at Mission Viejo High School, which then runs through a special school drop-off route before returning to regular service at City Hall and the library.

The MV Shuttle is a local service providing Mission Viejo residents with a transportation alternative.  The shuttles are smaller than typical transit buses and run on compressed natural gas (CNG), so they produce far less emissions than conventionally powered vehicles.

Shuttles run regularly from about 6:30 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday (except holidays) from August 15 through June 1. MV Shuttle stops are marked with colorful signs.
