The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) publicly announced their endorsement of Congresswoman Michelle Steel in California’s 45th Congressional District. NFIB advocates for small businesses at both the state and federal level. From taxes to healthcare, NFIB is actively advocating for every small business in America.

When it comes to fighting for small businesses, no other organization in the United States has fought for small businesses like NFIB. And when it comes to the halls of Congress, no one has done more to fight for small businesses and lower taxes than Congresswoman Michelle Steel. Rep. Steel has been fighting for lower taxes and fairer treatment of small businesses at the local, state, and federal level for over two decades.

“We are excited to announce our endorsement and support of Congresswoman Michelle Steel,” stated NFIB California State Director John Kabateck. “Congresswoman Steel is a true taxpayer advocate and has been one of the best and most effective advocates for small businesses in Congress. Congresswoman Steel will continue to deliver for small businesses and small business owners around the country, and we are proud to stand with her.”

As inflation and gas prices continue to rise, Michelle Steel has called for a full repeal of the California gas tax to give California residents much needed relief at the pump. She also continues to push for lower taxes at the federal level on all American citizens.

“The American economy is built on small businesses. Our economy cannot succeed unless we set up small businesses to succeed,” stated Rep. Steel. “With taxes and government spending causing inflation to rise, we need to cut taxes and regulations and create an environment small businesses can succeed in.”
