Meet the Primes Event Trains Minority- and Women-owned Construction-related Businesses

Join the City of Irvine for an educational training and networking event focused on minority- and women-owned construction-related businesses. The training opportunity will be held Monday, April 18, from 11 a.m. to noon at Quail Hill Community Center (39 Shady Canyon Drive).

During the training, participants will:

  • Meet prime contractors who have been awarded City contract, including Angeles Contractor Inc., R.J. Noble Company, and Horizons Construction. 
  • Receive updates from Public Works & Transportation staff on current and upcoming budding opportunities. 
  • Learn what prime contractors look for when evaluating bids from subcontractors, including best practices for preparing quotes and responding to solicitations.
  • Increase your knowledge about Irvine’s bidding process.
