The annual Luis Macias Varsity Boys Basketball Tournament will feature 12 teams competing from Nov. 14-19 at Santa Ana High School, according to Saints first-year head coach Zach Johnson.
“It is a 12 team, pool play tournament that features some very good teams in Orange County,” Johnson said.
Tustin, coached by Ringo Bossenmeyer, returns to defend its title.
Teams are grouped in four three-team pools.
Capistrano Valley Christian, California and El Modena are in Pool A, Tustin; Segerstrom and La Quinta in Pool B; Dana Hills, Calvary Chapel and Bellflower in Pool C; and San Juan Hills, Santa Ana and Tarbut ‘V Torah in Pool D.
The championship is set for Saturday, Nov. 19 at 3:30 p.m. There will be six games on the final day starting at 8 a.m.

Monday, Nov. 14: El Modena vs. California, 3:15 p.m.; Segerstrom vs. La Quinta, 4:45 p.m.; Dana Hills vs. Bellflower, 6:15 p.m.; San Juan Hills vs. Tarbut ‘V Torah, 7:45 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 15: Capo Valley Christian vs. El Modena, 3:15 p.m.; Trabuco Hills vs. Segerstrom, 4:45 p.m.; Dana Hills vs. Calvary Chapel, 6:15 p.m.; San Juan Hills vs. Santa Ana, 7:45 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 16: California vs. Capo Valley Christian, 3:15 p.m.; La Quinta vs. Tustin, 4:45 p.m.; Bellfower vs. Calvary Chapel, 6:15 p.m.; Tarbut ‘V Torah vs. Santa Ana, 7:45 p.m.
Pairings for games on Thursday, Nov 17 and Friday, Nov. 18 based on pool play first three days.
