The Los Alamitos Planning Commission continued a hearing about the Lampson Avenue development project to Oct. 23, according to Seal Beach Mayor/District Four Council Member Schelly Sustarsic.
“Yes, the Lampson Project Final EIR (FEIR) went before the Los Alamitos Planning Commission on September 25th, for their review and a public hearing,” Sustarsic wrote.
“The FEIR document is over 2,500 pages long and had only been released to the public 7 days prior to the meeting. Several residents of CPE [College Park East] spoke that this was insufficient time for residents, and our city staff, to adequately review it,” she wrote. “
“In the end, the Planning Commission voted to continue the hearing until their next meeting (October 23rd) and have staff come back with answers to some of their questions as well as a progress report on pending approvals from Seal Beach and the JFTB,” Sustarsic wrote,” Sustarsic wrote.
