Come meet your neighbors on a Community Walk around your local Lakewood park on Saturday, April 30 at 9 a.m.
Walk and talk while enjoying a two-mile route, getting to know your neighbors and enjoying Lakewood’s beautiful parks.The walks were a recommendation from Lakewood residents during the recent Community Dialogue as a good way for people to get to meet more of their neighbors.
Meet at the park office for light refreshments, water and a map of the walking route.
Pre-registration is required to help us plan. To sign up online for this free event, go to www.lakewoodcity.org/ecatalog and search for “Community Walk,” then select your local park and register.
Another Community Walk will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at 6 p.m.
