September 16, 2022

Found Property – 12:56 p.m. – 8000 block of Cheshire Cir. – Miscellaneous property was reportedly left in the bushes in the front yard of the residence next to the walkway. The soiled property was disposed of. The caller requested extra patrol checks due to possible transients sleeping in the bushes.

September 17, 2022

Fire – 2:10 p.m. – 7100 block of Bon Villa Cir. – A house and car were reportedly on fire. OCFA responded. A neighbor stated that there were four subjects and multiple pets associated with the residence. Nearby residences were evacuated. Assistance was requested from Buena Park Police for help with crowd control and street blockage. SEAACA dispatched an officer for two deceased animals. An OCFA fire inspector, the Gas Company, and a building inspector also responded to the scene. The residence was yellow-tagged. The fire was not deemed as arson.
Disturbance (Juveniles) – 9:21 p.m. – 7100 block of Caprice Cir. – Kids reportedly hit the caller’s garage. It was unknown what they hit it with and unknown if there was damage done. A second caller stated that the kids were looking into a vehicle on Tiara. It was unknown if they touched the vehicle. Police contacted the subjects, who were having a 16th birthday party on Caprice. After an area check, everything checked okay.
Traffic Stop – 11:03 p.m. – La Palma/Moody Creek – During a traffic stop, police conducted a DUI investigation of the driver. A 37-year-old male subject for DUI, driving without a license, and driving without registration. The vehicle was left with the subject’s stepfather.

September 18, 2022

Lost/Stolen Property – 11:40 a.m. – 5200 block of Decatur Dr. – Eight real estate signs were possibly stolen. The signs, valued at $208, were posted at approximately 6:45 on Sept. 18.
Grand Theft Report – 7:41 p.m. – 8500 block of Via Tina – Tools were reportedly stolen from a locked work truck. There was no damage to the vehicle. The loss was two drills valued at $12,000 and $1,800. Report taken.

September 19, 2022

Lost/Stolen Property – 9:26 a.m. – Walker/La Palma – Twelve real estate signs were reportedly taken from multiple intersections. The loss was valued at $350. The signs were still posted as of 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 17 and were noticed missing at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Sept. 17.

September 20, 2022

Traffic Collision – 3:40 p.m. – Walker/Bransford – Three vehicles were involved and a person was laying on the ground. One party was transported to the hospitals. Two tow trucks responded to the location.

September 21, 2022

Disturbance (Music) – 7:00 p.m. – Dover/Salisbury – The caller reported an Amazon driver with loud music. The caller wanted the driver to turn down the music and believed that the driver deliberately raises the volume when in the area. Police were unable to locate the Amazon truck.
Counseling – 10:26 p.m. – 5100 block of Glenwood Cir. – The caller reported suspicious package that was originally sent to an address on Glenwood and then returned to another address on Glenwood. When the reporting party looked up the company that sent the package, a photo of his home was online. An online search showed that a business belonged to the reporting party’s address. Counseled.
