October 10, 2022
Disturbance (Family) – 12:47 p.m. – 7600 block of Nearfield Ln. – The caller requested a psych evaluation regarding a 6-year-old damaging property with a hammer.
Suspicious Circumstances – 6:31 p.m. – 5500 block of La Palma Ave. – The reporting party believed that there were suspicious subjects in front of the ATM. The caller advised that the subjects were in the area for awhile pressing buttons. The caller further advised that several scanners were found at a bank in Cypress the day prior. Police checked all the ATMs at the location and were unable to locate scanners.
October 11, 2022
Suspicious Circumstances – 2:00 a.m. – 4500 block of Maroon Dr. – Two unknown subjects were reportedly in the driveway. It was unknown if there was a petty theft or vehicle burglary. Police checked the area and there was no sign of a crime to the vehicle. Police ultimately arrested a 42-year-old female subject for giving a false ID to police and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Petty Theft – 12:09 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A bike was reportedly taken the business approximately 5 minutes prior. There was no suspect information until police reviewed surveillance footage. Police were unable to locate the subject. Report taken.
October 12, 2022
Lewd Conduct Report – 10:29 a.m. – 8200 block of Suffield St. – A minor was reportedly abused by another minor in a park approximately one week prior. The family was advised to contact Cypress Police. Incident handled by Cypress Police.
Theft by False Pretense – 12:20 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The reporting party gave money to an unknown subject for a vehicle and the subject was now not contacting the reporting party. Report taken.
October 13, 2022
Traffic Stop – 9:07 p.m. – La Palma/Valley View (Buena Park) – During a traffic stop, police arrested a 25-year-old female subject for using account information without consent, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, bench warrants for failure to appear, appropriation of lost property, and other charges. A 22-year-old male subject was also arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, appropriation of lost property, and other property. The subject were transported to Orange County Jail.
Suspicious Occupied Vehicle – 12:08 p.m. – Pine/Willow – A female subject was sleeping in a vehicle. Police contacted the subject and assisted with filling up the gas tank.
October 14, 2022
Suspicious Subject – 11:07 a.m. – 5100 block of La Luna Dr. – A subject was reportedly looking in backyards from the creek. Police were unable to locate the subject.
Disturbance (Subject) – 9:20 p.m. – 5100 block of Dover Dr. – A subject was reportedly yelling expletives possibly from the rear garage area. The subject was possibly chasing someone with his vehicle but was now back at the residence.
October 15, 2022
Traffic Dispute – 2:49 p.m. – La Palma/Valley View (Buena Park) – A subject reportedly threw rocks at a vehicle as part of a road race incident. The vehicle pulled over and the subject grabbed her phone and threw it to the ground. The subject had since left the area.
Extra Patrol Check – 6:49 p.m. – Undisclosed Location – Extra patrol checks were requested from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. during scheduled power outage.
Disturbance (Subject) – 8:19 p.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – A patient was reportedly refusing to get off the gurney at the hospital. The female was upset that she was transported to the hospital and was refusing care. She requested to be transported to a different hospital. OCFA advised that they would not transport from a higher level of care back to an ambulance and were unable to facilitate transportation. The female requested a bus pass.

911 Hangup – 7:55 a.m. – 7900 block of Inwood Ln. – A female subject reportedly used some sort of transportation vehicle to go to possibly a dentist appointment and then work. She provided an address in the 7000 block of Knott as a destination close to where she was supposed to get taken to from her residence in Irvine. The female and her driver got into a verbal argument over the route and the driver dropped her off at Del Amo and Bloomfield. The female advised that her blood sugar was dropping but refused for her call to be transferred to LA County Fire. The female advised that it was an emergency that police take her to her work place. The female was argumentative and then disconnected.
Identity Theft Report – 1:39 p.m. – 7900 block of Barbi Ln. – An unknown subject reportedly purchased Sea World tickets using her bank information. The loss was $366. Report taken.
