November 23, 2022
Counseling – 1:57 p.m. – 5700 block of Fresca Dr. – Counseling was requested regarding containers missing form the business.
Health & Safety – 3:19 p.m. – Tiara/Houston – The caller believed that she saw a subject doing drugs in a vehicle. The subject, who was cooperative, was advised and left the area.
November 24, 2022
Welfare Check – 2:02 p.m. – 7821 Walker St. (Central Park) – The caller gave his name and stated that he had a gun to his wife and child’s head. The caller sounded like he’d been drinking. Police determined that the original subject was impersonating the real subject. The real subjects were all okay.
Welfare Check – 11:24 p.m. – 8400 block of Walker St. – The caller believed that subjects were following him. Police were unable to locate any subjects following the caller. Police arrested a 42-year-old male for possession of a controlled substance.
November 25, 2022
Suspicious Circumstances – 1:41 p.m. – 4700 block of Iris Cir. – An unknown subject opened a package at the front door. The subject was identified. The homeowners desired prosecution. Report taken. A 37-year-old subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and attempted petty theft.
November 26, 2022
Assault with a Deadly Weapon – 12:27 a.m. – 5200 block of Banbury Cir. – OCFA advised that a 32-year-old female was possibly attacked. The female reportedly started a subject in the dumpster area and when she turned away the male attacked her, stabbing her. She suffered a puncture wound to the abdomen. The female was transported tot he hospital.
Citizen Assist – 11:15 a.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – At an unknown time during the evening hours, an unknown subject cut the power to the refrigeration unit that contained deceased subjects, possibly to steal copper wire. Maintenance advised that the subject(s) probably got a bad shock. No report was desired at this time.
Disturbance (Subject) – 7:10 p.m. – 7900 block of Valley View St. – The staff requested that a transient leave the area after the subject created a disturbance with staff and customers. The subject left the area and police were unable to locate the subject.
November 27, 2022
Unknown Trouble – 8:00 a.m. – 4500 block of Amberwood Ave. – A female caller reportedly stated that she needed paramedics and her son was unstable. After some screaming was heard, the female stated that she now needed police. Police made contact and determined that the disturbance was verbal only. The son collected some items and left the property for the day.
Suspicious Vehicle – 11:27 p.m. – Denni/La Palma (Cerritos) – Four vehicles were reportedly parked in the cul-de-sac. The caller advised that there were “No Parking” signs in the area. It was determined that the vehicles were in the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.
November 28, 2022
Disturbance (Subject) – 1:58 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller reported a disturbance between and her and her boyfriend. Police contacted the female at her residence, and the female subject was arrested for domestic battery.
Medical Aid – 5:54 p.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – A female subject reportedly fainted inside of the restaurant. Orange County Fire Authority responded and the female was transported to the hospital.
November 29, 2022
Theft By False Pretense – 12:26 p.m. – 7300 block of Brian Ln. – The reporting party sent $5000 in gift cards to an unknown male subject posing as an FBI agent. Report taken.
Stray Animals – 9:44 p.m. – 7821 Walker St. (La Palma Recreation Center) – Two dogs were reportedly found in a box in the Edison Right-of-Way near Central Park. SEAACA was notified and took possession of the dogs.
November 30, 2022
Person Down – 3:38 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject in the parking lot was leaning against the wall. The subject complained of shoulder pain and advised that he fell on the concrete. The subject was transported to the hospital for intoxication.
Welfare Check – 4:18 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The reporting party had not been able to contact nephew in two weeks, and the reporting party usually had contact with the subject daily. Police were unable to make contact with the subject. Several neighbors advised that it had been several days since they had seen the subject. Police did a search online and the subject had Instagram on his vehicle which showed that he left approximately five days earlier on a trip. The reporting party was advised.
