February 9, 2023

Traffic Collision – 3:05 p.m. – Conifer/Walker – A vehicle, a green SUV, reportedly struck a house. A flatbed tow truck responded for the vehicle.
Found Property – 7:00 p.m. – Hummingbird/Robin – The reporting party located a syringe she believed was drug-related. The syringe was placed inside a trash collection box.

February 10, 2023

Vehicle Burglary – 7:56 p.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – Property was reportedly stolen from a locked vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry. The loss included clothing, food, a backpack, and an empty wallet. Report taken.
Suspicious Subject – 9:01 p.m. – Maplewood/Lemonwood – A subject was reportedly walking around in only a diaper. Police were unable to locate the subject.

February 11, 2023

Spousal Abuse – 2:24 a.m. – 5000 block of Pine Cir. – The pregnant reporting party was reportedly kicked and punched by her boyfriend. One subject was detained. A 28-year-old male was arrested for battery and domestic violence.

February 13, 2023

Found Property – 2:57 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Centerpointe – A Public Works employee found an ID on Orangethorpe in front of the business.
Counseling – 6:25 p.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – A vehicle was reportedly purchased using the reporting party’s personal information and the RP was now receiving parking citations in the mail from the City of Los Angeles. Counseled. The reporting party was directed to the City of Los Angeles Parking Enforcement.

February 14, 2023

Transient – 2:18 p.m. – 7821 Walker St. (Central Park) – A transient reportedly set up a camp in the Edison right-of-way. Police were requested to make contact. Police requested that Public Works respond with a truck and trash bags to throw away garbage. The area was cleaned up.
Welfare Check – 9:05 p.m. – 8400 block of Moody St. – A female subject was reportedly hunched over a steering wheel in a vehicle and she did not respond when asked if she was okay. Police contacted the driver, who stated that she was looking at her phone. No medical emergency.

February 15, 2023

Extra Patrol Checks – 11:28 a.m. – Undisclosed location – The caller requested extra patrol checks for several weeks regarding a suspicious subject seen getting into a dark-colored Camaro in the neighborhood.
Disturbance (Family) – 11:28 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A female and a male were reportedly in a disturbance. Lights were being turned off and on in the residence. Police made contact at the residence. A male subject was detained in cuffs. It was determined that the disturbance was verbal only. The male half would stay with a relative for the night.

February 16, 2023

Vehicle Check – 1:19 a.m. – 5500 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A subject was reportedly outside the vehicle walking around a flashlight near a business that appeared to be closed. The subject was determined to work for an excavation company and had paperwork providing he should be at the location at that time.
Counseling – 12:59 p.m. – 5200 block of Pembury Dr. – A subject was reportedly upset regarding issues with OCFA. OCFA stated that the subject declined medics and there was no need for them to respond with LPPD. Report taken.
