December 8, 2022
Disturbance (Juveniles) – 9:30 p.m. – 8400 block of Moody St. – Approximately 10 subjects aged 14-16 reportedly entered the store, possibly under the influence. There was no crime and the cashier was able to get them to leave. The juveniles were advised.
Welfare Check – 10:45 a.m. – La Palma/Walker – A transient was reportedly yelling, walking in traffic, and throwing property. Police contacted the subject, who advised officers that she was upset because her cell phone was stolen earlier in the morning. The subject was asked if she wanted a police report in reference to her stolen phone and she stated that she did not. The subject was offered homeless resources to assist her in obtaining a cell phone and housing, which she refused.
December 9, 2022
Counseling – 9:41 a.m. – 4900 block of Berton Cir. – The reporting party requested counseling regarding possible hackers in her email and phone. Report taken.
Welfare Check – 10:16 a.m. – 7600 block of Tracy Ln. – The reporting party was concerned for a neighbor and requested a welfare check. He had not noticed the trash cans moving and the Christmas lights had not turned on since Monday. Police contacted the subject, who was alive and well.
December 10, 2022
Citizen Assist – 7:16 p.m. – 5000 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller’s daughter was reportedly involved in a traffic collision in a drive thru. There were no injuries. The other vehicle was driven by an unlicensed driver with an international passport only. Assisted.
Disturbance (Subject) – 11:34 p.m. – 7200 block of Monterey Ln. – An Uber driver reportedly had a passenger refusing to exit the vehicle.
December 11, 2022
Assault/Battery Report – 7:13 a.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – The caller’s 25-year-old son reportedly hit the caller on Tuesday at approximately 1 p.m., and the caller now had a bruise. Police made contact with the son, who was sent to a hospital for a mental health evaluation. An emergency protection order was served. Assault report taken.
Suspicious Subject – 11:03 a.m. – Willow/Juniper – A subject unknown to the area was reportedly looking at houses on Willow and Juniper. A second caller stated that the subject was seen taking a package at a residence on Willow and may have concealed it under his jacket. Police arrested a 31-year-old male subject for disorderly conduct.

Suspicious Circumstances – 1:28 a.m. – 5400 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller believed that a female juvenile was drinking at the bar. Police contacted the staff, who advised that no subject matched the description was at the bar. Furthermore, the staff asked a patron to leave the bar and they believe that was who made the report.
Transients – 10:28 a.m. – 7000 block of Moody St. – Two transients were reportedly in front of the business, and the caller requested a trespassing advisement. Party advised and will comply and the subjects left the area.
Counseling – 1:47 p.m. – 4900 block of Malaga Dr. – The reporting party’s phone bill was paid off, and the RP believed that someone was trying to frame him by paying his bill with someone else’s credit card. Counseled.
December 13, 2022
Petty Theft Report – 11:18 a.m. – 8000 block of Frese Ln. – Mail was reportedly taken from the mailbox the previous Saturday. The reporting party stated that a neighbor received mail, but they did not. Incident report taken.
Traffic Stop – 10:20 p.m. – 91 Fwy./Orangethorpe – Following a traffic stop, two subjects were arrested for outstanding bench warrants. One of the subjects had an additional charge of possession of unlawful paraphernalia. The subjects were transported to Orange County Jail.
December 14, 2022
Disturbance (Subject) – 5:35 a.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – A male subject had been brought to the hospital after an altercation that took place in Cerritos. The subject was creating a disturbance regarding shoes; the male believed that he had shoes on when he was dropped off at the hospital. Staff advised that the subject did not have shoes on at the time of being dropped off. The subject was cooperative with police and was picked up by Uber.
Traffic Hazard – 6:45 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Walker – Rocks were reportedly in the roadway south of the riverbed on Walker. Public Works was requested to respond to assist with 40-50 small boulders in the roadway.
