December 29, 2022

Disturbance (Subject) – 8:04 p.m. – Nancy/Sharon – A subject, possibly a transient was reportedly yelling and sitting in between two vehicles on Sharon. Police contacted the subject and guided the subject to the hospital. The subject refused an ambulance at this time.

December 30, 2022

Citizen Assist – 9:06 a.m. – 8200 block of Sparrow Ln. – Assistance was requested regarding a found hat and jacket. The property was collected and returned. The owner’s aunt took possession of the property at the mother’s request.
Disturbance (Subject) – 8:20 p.m. – 8152 Denni St. (Denni Park) – A subject from an earlier call returned and was reportedly hitting trees with a bat again. Police were unable to locate the subject. Report taken.

December 31, 2022

Welfare Check – 7:39 p.m. – 5100 block of Bransford Dr. – A subject was reportedly walking up and down the street in a bathrobe. Police were unable to locate the subject.

January 1, 2023

Suspicious Circumstances – 7:35 p.m. – 6900 block of Walker St. – The caller believed that her brother was kidnapped months ago. The caller advised that she was tracking her brother by an app called Noise Capture. It was determined that the incident was unfounded.
Identity Theft – 9:39 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – The caller reportedly lost a wallet at Walmart. A credit card had since been used at multiple locations. Report taken.

January 2, 2023

Traffic Collision – 8:46 a.m. – Caprice/Bransford – No injuries were reported in the traffic accident. A Spanish-speaking officer was requested for translation. An officer was dispatched from Buena Park Police. A 23-year-old male subject was arrested for driving without a license and other charges. The subject was later released on citation.
Counseling – 8:19 p.m. – 8100 block of Walker St. – The caller advised that she received a call from her son’s friend’s parents regarding a rumor about the caller’s son touching another boy in an intimate area. Police spoke to the parties and both parties denied the incident. The rumors were spread by another student at the school.

January 3, 2023

Welfare Check – 5:14 p.m. – Valley View/Priest – A Lyft driver issued an alert requesting an ambulance for a passenger. The subject was breathing okay but possibly having a heart attack. Incident handled by OCFA.

January 4, 2023

Vandalism Report – 8:27 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A rock was reportedly thrown through the caller’s daughter’s window. Police took photos of the damage. Report taken.
Suspicious Vehicle – 11:31 p.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – Police checked a vehicle to the rear of a business. A subject was extracted from the vehicle and the vehicle was searched. A 26-year-old male subject was arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

January 5, 2023

Traffic Collision – 12:01 p.m. – Sharon/Moody – Three vehicles were reportedly involved in a traffic collision. All subjects were out of the vehicles. It was determined that no one was injured. All vehicles were removed from the roadway. A tow truck was requested for one of the vehicles. Names were exchanged.
Vehicle Tampering Report – 4:15 p.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – Two tires and rims were reportedly missing from the vehicle. The vehicle was on a jack and couldn’t be removed. The reporting party requested a tow truck. Assisted.
