Justin Timberlake’s feeling ‘Selfish’

Justin Timberlake is bringing music back to his fans.

On Thursday the singer dropped “Selfish,” the first single and music video from his upcoming album “Everything I Thought I Was.”

The song was written by Louis Bell, Henry Walter, Theron Makiel Thomas and Amy Allen.

*NSYNC fans may find the title familiar, as the boy band had a song with the same title off of their 2001 album “Celebrity.”

The music video shows a vulnerable side of the “Palmer” actor.

The video starts with the “SexyBack” singer bowing onstage after a performance.

The camera then shows Timberlake stripped down to just a t-shirt and jeans backstage as he directs the photographer on how to record him while singing the lyrics:

“So if I get jealous, I can’t help it. I want every bit of you, I guess I’m selfish. It’s bad for my mental, but I can’t fight it, when you’re out lookin’ like you do, but you can’t hide it, no.”

Timberlake then finds a light coming out of a door and he enters a small office building as he attempts to pick up a red phone.

The video then pans to Timberlake crushing model buildings brought to him by the stage crew.

He also shows off his moves in a short dance sequence before the video cuts back to him backstage as the video ends.

The single and video comes days before Timberlake takes the stage as the musical guest for actress Dakota Johnson as she hosts “Saturday Night Live” on Jan. 27.

On Jan. 31, which is the singer’s birthday, he’ll be hosting a free concert at New York City’s Irving Plaza.

Timberlake’s sixth studio album is set to drop on March 15.
